With songs inspired by travel, love, life, and the observing of people, singer-songwriter Emily Barden, appearing with her band, brings her outstanding vocal talent to Arundel.
Emily is a singer songwriter, performing acoustically both as a solo artist and alongside other musicians. Emily plays piano and guitar and sings a wide variety of styles, from country/folk inspired originals to well loved classic songs and jazz standards. Emily works professionally as a singer and composer, and has toured with artists from the worlds of rock through to opera, as a backing vocalist and choir director.
Emily is an experienced choral leader and vocal arranger, and currently runs several adult Community Choirs. She is one quarter of the acapella group Oaken, regularly travelling the country doing workshops and gigs.
